WEDDINGS
I love weddings...
I really do. I love everything about them. Not just the obvious things like a beautiful dress or spectacular venue or well turned out guests. I love the Best Man's nerves and the sometimes tears, I love the steadying touch of a maid of honour, the way dads and mums look at their little boys and girls all grown up and making their promises.
The getting ready bit
I love the morning, getting ready, the magic something that happens when suddenly the ‘bride’ appears where there was a nervous girl a few minutes before. I love the bubbles and the sparkles, the glitz and the romance.
I love that it makes me think about my own wedding and the weddings to come where I’ll be the one giving something away but hopefully gaining much more in return.
The important bit...
During the day, we'll go somewhere special for a short private session. This gives you time to breathe and be alone for a moment and allows us to get images free from other cameras.
Cringe free I promise and if you like we can get together for a pre wedding shoot at your venue to break the ice and steady any nerves.
and the bit after...
I love the speeches and the looks that pass between dads and daughters, between the new Mr & Mrs, the unsaid things in the space between the words. I'm usually about until a little after the first dance and then fade into the night, leaving you partying with your nearest & dearest. (Nothing pretty happens after 9pm in my experience!)
